Please remember, that as a measurement of population fitness we are using number of eaten fodders, not population size. In all cases all parameters other than displayed have default values.

Blind bitozoa. More or less standard situation - fast improvement at the beginning and not very stable population later. In case of 100 blind bitozoa and 10 fodders there are two strategies - "move and eat" and "wait till everyone moving dies". Sometimes first strategy wins, sometimes second, sometimes mutations change winning strategy during a simulation.

Changes in effectivenes - bitozoa eat less, but live longer.

5 eyed bitozoa improved at some point by mutation. This is a picture at about 900 generation. The earlier history is interesting as well.

If you want to see interesting strategy try 5000 5-eyed bitozoa and 10 fodders only. Wait until effectiveness of population stabilize and look at how the bitozoa behave in the middle of the generation.
